The Female Driver. . .

Still stuck as far as finding a coloring style goes. I think I would prefer soft watercolor tones, though I am not sure how to manage that in digital media. I have added one new character to the group. For the upcoming posts while I wait on some good coloring help (leave a comment if you know of any!), I’ll tell you about each person that stands in the group. For this post I’ll tell you about the female driver as seen in the previous post standing on the far right.

Unfortunately, I have not come up with a fitting name. She is based on the current female Nascar driver Danika Patrick, though many characteristics are changed to make publishing the comic book easier. She is quite the talkative sort, not at all a fighter when she can defend herself with her own tongue, though she finds it very hard to let others have leadership and can become quite the dictating type at times. She is faced with the opposition that most women face in our sinful world, the opposition that women cannot be as good at certain things as men. She in turn feels quite the burden, and in turn, tries to act as a public liberator for women. Unfortunately the way she does so is not the wisest route. But otherwise, her strengths are both handling her race car well, and taking on the press conferences. With her big mouth flying all the time, she will definitely keep things interesting in the book!
