You heard me all right. I used a napkin to do this little tree-house design. It’s amazing how many odd objects can make a masterpiece. Trust me, you don’t have to learn on a Cintiq.
Guys like Charles Vess, Stan Lee, and Scott Mcloud didn’t get started on a HUGE tablet. Go get a normal piece of paper and draw the things you see around you.
